This page will calculate the correct wheel spacer size required for a given wheel width and offset for your Audi TT.

Calculations on this page are based off meem's post on Audiworld and apply to Quattro TTs (FWD models have a 8mm wider rear track). The photos on the right shows his 8.5" wide BBS LMs with ET20 in front and ET17 in the rear. Since then, additional data collecting has shown ET22 front, ET16 rear to be a "safe" setup, with few rubbing problems even on aggressively lowered cars. This setup will be considered FLUSH to fenders and will be used as a baseline for all calculations below. The stock 7.5" wheel with ET32 is also given as a comparision.

The illustration below left explains the relationship between wheel width and offset. Adding a spacer changes the effective offset of a wheel. All calculations are approximate and may vary due to differences in tire sizes, sidewall profiles, camber settings, etc. More information can be found in this thread on AudiWorld.
